Condolence: Just read on Sentinel website that Joan had passed away on Sunday. How fortunate I was to know her from childhood. Friend of my mother and then I had the pleasure of calling her a friend as an adult. Truly a wonderful,loving Christian woman! Sorry I was not able to attend her funeral as we are out of town. Our deepest sympathy to the family!

Condolence: Doc, Susan and Greg: My sincerest condolences on the loss of your wife and mother. From the very first day, when we moved into the parsonage across the street, Mrs. Severson was welcoming and loving. I was only in second grade, but she spoke with me like I was an adult, which made me feel wonderful. And, yes, her Halloween treats! Mostly, though, her loving kindness to everyone is what I remember most... lo these many years later. She was the best example of Christian love. I'm so glad I was able to know her.
