Zachery Dean Port, 30, of Riverside, California, formerly of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, following a tragic accident in Riverside. Services will be held at a later date.

Zachery Dean Port was born on April 28, 1991, in Le Mars, Iowa, the son of Archie Dean Jr. and Barbara Jean (Schmitz) Port. He received his education at Le Mars Community Schools. Following school, Zachery held various jobs until moving to Riverside, California in 2017. He was very mechanical and enjoyed working on motorcycles and 4-wheelers.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Taige, Freija and Nicoli; mother, Barbara Port of Merrill, IA; special friend, Loreña; a sister and her husband, Sheila and Josh Fuller of Brunsville, IA; a brother and his wife, Jeff and Jessica Bohlken of Le Mars, IA; a sister, Makayla Collins of Le Mars, IA; his grandmothers, Judy Lubben of Remsen, IA and Kay Port of Alton, IA; grandfather, Jim Burnett of Seney, IA; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Archie Port, Jr.; grandmother, Kathy Burnett; grandfathers, Archie Port, Sr. and Gary Schmitz.
