Winter Ray Dunlap, son of Miranda Hicks and Zachary Dunlap, was born silent on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Unity Point Health in Sioux City, Iowa. The family will hold private services at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home with Father Travis Crotty officiating.

He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Miranda Hicks and Zachary Dunlap of Le Mars, IA; maternal grandparents, Angie (Bill Krula) Schaa and Dan Hicks all of Le Mars, IA; paternal grandparents, Karen and Jim Gearke of Le Mars, IA and Joe and Dianna Dunlap of Kingsley, IA; great-grandparents, Karla and Carl Schaa of Sibley, IA and Beverly Miers of Kingsley, IA.

Winter was preceded in death by his great uncle, Tony Schaa who is now holding him gently in heaven.
