Early, Iowa – Terry J Busse, 66, of Early, Iowa and formerly of Marcus, Iowa, passed away at his home on Thursday, September 7, 2023. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the Marcus-Amherst Cemetery in Marcus. Pastor Ron Rice will officiate. The Earnest-Johnson Funeral Home in Marcus is assisting the family.

Terry Joe Busse was born on March 19, 1957, in Spencer, Iowa to Lloyd and Lucille (Muilenburg) Busse. He attended school in Milford, Iowa from kindergarten until ninth grade and then attended school in Marcus from tenth through twelfth grade. He worked for many years at Tyson's in Storm Lake, Iowa. Terry enjoyed hunting.

Terry is survived by his mother, Lucille Busse of Marcus; his son Damon (Jessica) Busse of Meriden, Iowa; his sister, Deb Staab of Remsen, Iowa; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father; and his brother-in-law, Wendel Staab.
