Obituary for Shelli Renae Meehan Marcus, Iowa – Shelli Renae Meehan, 46, of Sioux City, formerly of Marcus, Iowa, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center following a brief illness. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Marcus, Iowa with visitation beginning at 12:30 p.m. Father Bill McCarthy will celebrate Mass. Burial will follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Marcus.

Shelli Renae Meehan was born in Sioux City on March 11, 1972, to James and Kay Meehan. She lived in Sioux City and Marcus, Iowa until becoming a resident of Courage Homes in 1983.

Shelli enjoyed listening to music, watching movies, and going to the mall, but most of all, she loved spending time with her dad.

Grateful to have shared her life are aunt and uncles Marcia and Dean Drefke and Ken Meehan; and many cousins and friends, especially the caring staff at Courage Homes.

She was preceded in death by her parents; aunts Marlene Meehan and Lorraine Meehan; and grandparents John "Andy" and Lenora Meehan; and a cousin Bob Meehan.
