Sandra Mohning, 82, of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

A Celebration of Life will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. Burial will be at a later date at Elgin Township Cemetery near Seney, Iowa. Arrangements are with the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. Sandra Joy Conner, the daughter of Nathan and Eva (Miller) Conner, was born on September 8, 1942, in Seney, Iowa. She attended country school and later high school.

She was united in marriage to Henry Mohning on June 21, 1959, in Le Mars. To this union, 3 children were born: Randy, Dave, and Becky. They later divorced.

Sandra worked various jobs in Le Mars, including Randalls Grocery, Super Value, Harker's, and Fuel n' More, where she made many dear friends.

Over the years, she enjoyed bowling and spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her two children: Dave Mohning on Seney, IA, and Becky Sitzmann of Sheldon, IA; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Randy Mohning; and her siblings: Junior (Darlene) Conner, Anthony (Maxine) Conner, and Larry Conner.
