Paul Lind III, 63, of Le Mars, Iowa, formerly of Barnum, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026, after a 2 year battle with prostate cancer. He was surrounded by his loved ones in the last days.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 220 1st Avenue NW in Le Mars, Iowa, with a lunch to follow.

Growing up, Paul's biggest joys were fishing and playing sports, especially baseball. He was a phenomenal pitcher. Paul enjoyed spending time with friends and family, making people laugh. Spending time on the lake fishing and spending the days with his love, Kimberly Bierwirth.

He loved to play in dart league and working at Walmart. This was where he met many of his friends.

Paul will be remembered for his fun sense of humor, his boisterous laugh and his ability to make people feel welcome.

Paul is preceded in death by his father, Paul II; mother, Georgieann 'Jo'; brother, Troy; and aunts, uncles, and grandparents.

He is survived by his love of 13 years, Kimberly Bierwirth of Le Mars; two daughters, Briana (Matt) Bodovinitz of Duluth, MN, and Kayla Lind (Dakota Obright) of Herman Town, MN; his brother, Doug (Lori) Lind of Barnum, MN; his sister, Amy (Jamey) Armstrong of Carlton, MN; and his nieces, nephews and cousins.

Paul will be incredibly missed and we can rest now, knowing he is now pain free. He can fish all he wants in heaven. If it's anything like paradise, he will have unlimited Mountain Dew and Doughnuts.
