Obituary

Obituary for Mark Stuart Schipper Mark Stuart Schipper, 59, formerly of Naples, Florida and a Le Mars native, died Thursday, April 14, 2016, at his home in Shorewood, Minnesota, of natural causes.

He was born on July 27, 1956, and grew up in Le Mars. He graduated from Le Mars Community High School and attended Iowa State University in Ames.

He lived in Iowa City for a period of time and relocated to Naples, where he owned and operated a carpet and upholstery cleaning service.

In 2011 he moved to Shorewood, Minnesota, where his brother, his brother's wife, and his mother live.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Wells; his brother, Scott and wife Debra Schipper, all of Shorewood; his uncle, John and wife Gwen Hart of Le Mars; his aunt, Jane and husband Richard Fornoff of Chicago, Illinois; and his aunt, Karen Breuer of Le Mars.

He is also survived by his beloved nephew and nieces, Mark Schipper of Chicago, Illinois, Katherine Schipper of Oceanside, Florida and Elizabeth Schipper Scott and husband Jeremy Scott of Bozeman, Montana; and by his stepbrothers, Gary Wells, Daniel Wells, and Douglas Wells; and his stepsister, Patricia Minthorn.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn D. Schipper; grandparents, Opal and Wayne Schipper and John and Claudine Hart; his stepfather, Fay Robert Wells; and uncles, Lee and Wendell Schipper and Ron Breuer, all of Le Mars.

Private services and interment will be at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association.
