Margaret 'Marge' Adler, 98, of Le Mars, Iowa, died on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Accura Healthcare of Le Mars.

A visitation with the family present will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars followed by a private family memorial. Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.mauerjohnsonfh.com.

Memorials are preferred to St. John's Lutheran Church in Le Mars.

Margaret M. Laux was born on October 11, 1927, in Le Mars, Iowa, to Wilbur and Amy (Tupper) Laux. She married Rudy D. Adler on October 5, 1946, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Le Mars. In 1946, Rudy and Marge started Adler Sporting Goods in Le Mars. They owned and operated the business until Rudy retired in 1988.

Marge was an active, lifetime member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Le Mars. She sang in the church choir, was a member of the women's circle, altar guild, and church quilting group. Marge was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved sweets, playing cards, singing, dancing, and being with her family and friends. A granddaughter wrote, "She was feisty happy and loved her life."

Marge will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Christy (Leonard) Dunham of Newton, IA; her sons, Neal (Jody) Adler of Longmont, CO, and Larry (Florrie) Adler of Le Mars, IA; her grandchildren: Seth (Michelle) Dunham, Tate (Sara) Dunham, Tori (Eli) Jorgensen, Cali Dunham Wright, Ally (Adam) Stein, Luke (Farah) Adler, Leah Adler, Stephanie (Chad) Jewell, and Eric (Lyndsey) Mortensen; and her great grandchildren: Quinn, Reese, and Porter Dunham, Lilly and Ibrahim Abdelwahab, Carter and Jaxson Jorgensen, Silas, Elijah, and Titus Wright, Emma, Lena, Nora, and Ryhe Stein, Noah, Eden, and Sophia Adler, Georgia, Harriet, and August Jewell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rudy Adler; and sister: Gladys, Helen, Dorothy, Jean, and Donna.
