Loretta Walsh, 79, of Seney, Iowa, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023, at the Happy Siesta Health Care Center in Remsen, Iowa. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 2, 2023, at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. Rev. Christian Meier of St. John's Lutheran Church in Le Mars will officiate. Burial will follow at the Seney Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Loretta Joyce Walsh was born on July 5, 1943, to Gordon and Margaretta (Tolman) Cook. She attended school in California. On October 24, 1983, Loretta and Tom Walsh were united in marriage. During her lifetime, she worked as an antique dealer and a registered beautician. She worked at Old Sleepy Eye antique store in Le Mars and then had her own antique store, Billie's Bangels, in Seney, Loretta had her own beauty shop in her home. She enjoyed going to Cutty's Resort in Okoboji, IA during the fall. One thing that she was proud of was when the bypass on Highway 60 was being built, she fought against them tearing down houses in Seney for the new road, and she won!

Loretta is survived by her son LeMount (Angela) Lehrman of Algonquin, IL; her granddaughter, Olivia Lehrman of Alhambra, CA; stepdaughters, Mary and Cindi Walsh of Texas; and her brother, George Cook of Murrieta, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Loren Lehrman and Tom Walsh; her daughters, Lila Lehrman and Lyndel Lehrman.
