Obituary for Lillian Kathryn Buehre (Buehre) Le Mars, IA – Lillian K. Buehre, 103, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Brentwood Good Samaritan Center in Le Mars. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016 in the chapel at Brentwood. Rev. Chris Meier of St. John's Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Preston Township. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Brentwood.

Lillian Kathryn Buehre was born March 9, 1912 in rural Akron, IA to Alfred and Maggie (Pausch) Buehre. She attended country school through the 8th grade. Lillian helped her parents on the farm and was also a homemaker. She would help her neighbors whenever they had a newborn baby.

Lillian moved to Le Mars in 1960 and took care of her parents. On April 25, 1997, she moved to Brentwood Good Samaritan Center. The staff and residents at Brentwood became her family. She enjoyed reading and listening to the radio. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Le Mars.

She is survived by her loving family at Brentwood. Preceding her in death are her parents and infant brothers and sisters.
