Le Mars, Iowa – Larry Keith Conner, 83, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021, in Omaha, Nebraska with his daughter Darla and granddaughter Kasandra by his side. A Celebration of Life service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 20, 2021, at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. Clynton Sanow will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date in the Seney Cemetery, Seney, Iowa. Visitation with the family present will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Larry worked as a heavy equipment operator for over 30 years. He worked for Pete Bock, and later Henry and Bill Tordoff.


Larry is survived by his wife of 37 years, Bonnie Conner; daughters, Jeannie Conner, Darla Conner-Smith; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Anthony Conner; sister, Sandra Mohning-Kai; and his beloved dog, Buddy.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Eva (Miller) Conner; his son, Robert Allen Conner; and his brother, Junior Conner.

His family invites everyone for refreshments after the service in the Mauer-Johnson Fellowship room.
