John Michael Reichle, the son of Dale and Sharon (Rasmussen) Reichle, was born on January 29, 1968, in Le Mars, Iowa. He attended school in Le Mars and graduated from Le Mars Community High School in 1987. Following high school, John worked various jobs, including for Wiltgen Construction and Reichle Construction. In 2005, John moved to Missouri. In April of 2019, he moved to Alton, Iowa. In December of 2020, he moved to Village Northwest Unlimited in Sheldon.

John was an avid fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Green Bay Packers. He loved watching Western shows and thriller movies – the scarier the better! After moving to Village Northwest Unlimited , he earned several medals for his participation inthe Special Olympics. He was strong minded and liked to tease people, however, he had a big heart. His family was very important to him, he enjoyed the times spent with them. John suffered from poor health and was hospitalized on numerous occasions but never got discouraged. He always worked hard to get healthy so he could get back to his special family at Village Northwest Unlimited where he had many friends and a wonderful staff.

Survivors include his aunts and uncles: Bob and Linda Reichle of Alton, IA, Joyce and Darrell Lancaster of Seney, IA, Betty Holles of Lincoln, NE, Judy and Mark Meis of Alton, IA, and Paula Ramussen of Norfolk, NE; several cousins including his "special" cousins and their families: Heath (Liz) Reichle and their children, Lyla and Keller; Matt Reichle; and Amanda (Brett) Hansen and their children, Braxton and Blair.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Sharon Reichle; grandparents, Harold and Marcella Reichle and Ronald and Veona Rasmussen; his aunts and uncles: Kenneth and Marilyn Rasmussen, Jeanine and Larry Neitzke, and Lloyd Holles.
