Jeffery L. Britcher Sr, 70, of Le Mars, Iowa, died on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at his home in Le Mars surrounded by his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service in Remembrance of Jeffery L. Britcher Sr will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Rejoice! Community Church (1320 3rd Ave SE, Le Mars, IA 51031).  Please join his family to share memories during the service and join them for a lunch to immediately follow the service.  You are invited and encouraged to wear Minnesota Vikings themed clothing to Jeff's services. Jeffery Lynn Britcher was born on July 23, 1955 in Davenport, Iowa to Billy Britcher and Audrey Christian. He enlisted in the United States Navy and served from December of 1972 until his honorable discharge in May of 1974. Jeff graduated with an associate's degree in business and animal husbandry from Ellsworth Community College. He moved to Le Mars in 1997 to work in pork production. For the last 18 years, he owned and operated Britcher Trucking.

Jeff was united in marriage to Donna Kay (Zimmerle) Luchtel on February 1, 1999 at the Plymouth County courthouse and they made their home in Le Mars.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Donna; three children: Jasmine Britcher of Le Mars, Jeffery Britcher Jr of Mason City, IA, and Jacob (Courtney) Britcher of Le Mars; three step-children: Jason (Christina) Luchtel of Palm Bay, FL, Tracy Luchtel-Jackson of Le Mars, and Clint (Cindi) Luchtel of Burr Oak, KS; 11 grandchildren; 12 siblings; and other extended relatives.

Jeff is preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Billy and Phyllis Britcher; his mother, Audrey (Christian) Britcher; brother, Mark Britcher; two step siblings: Mark Allen and Theresa; son in law, Jason Jackson; and granddaughter, Quintessence Jackson.
