Shipman, IL – Jason L. Schwebach, 50, of Shipman, Illinois, formerly of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early morning hours of Saturday, July 23, 2022, at his home. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Memorial Cemetery in Le Mars.

Jason Lou Schwebach was born on November 8, 1971, in Le Mars, Iowa to Richard and Rosie (VanMeveren) Schwebach. He attended Le Mars Community Schools before moving to Sioux City, Iowa and graduating from North High School. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served with the military police unit for 4 years. He was sent overseas and served in Desert Storm during the Iraq War as an MP.

Jason is survived by his father, Richard Schwebach and his stepmother Mary Stoltman of North Sioux City, SD; his brother, Rick Schwebach of Illinois; his girlfriend, Michaela Sargent of Illinois; nieces and nephews, Chris, Matt, Mike, Sara, Preslee and Rosie; and 2 dogs that he considered his children, Maggie and Bubba.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosie Schwebach.

Jason will be truly missed by all who loved him.
