Obituary for Bonnie Pearl Wright Bonnie P. Wright, 66, of Marcus, Iowa passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at her home. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Earnest – Johnson Funeral Home in Marcus. The family will be present to greet friends from 5-7 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled at 7:00 p.m.

Bonnie Pearl Greiner was born on April 11, 1948 in Minnesota. She was adopted in 1957 by Robert and Elizabeth (Melven) Greiner. She was raised in Rapid City, South Dakota where she attended high school.

On May 27, 1965, Bonnie and Raymond Barker were united in marriage at Rapid City. Bonnie worked as a nurses' aid and in the home health care field. In 1973, Raymond passed away. Bonnie was then married to Robert Wright on June 26, 1975. They made their home in Phoenix, Arizona. Bonnie worked as an administrative assistant. In 2003, Bonnie moved to Marcus, Iowa and worked at Carriage Hills in Cherokee, Iowa for two years. She retired from the health care field at Heartland Care Center in Marcus after working there for six years.

Bonnie took every opportunity to spend time with her grandchildren. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting and watching movies.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Darrin Barker of Danville, KY, Brenda Means and her husband Ray of Marcus, IA, Dwayne Wright and his wife Kathy Jo of Danville, KY and Danyal Wright and his wife Nancy of Stillwater, OK; grandchildren, Brian, Charlene, Ashley, Logan, Star, Raymond, Jonathan, Brandon and Alayna; a great-grandchild, Ayla; a sister, Mary Wright of Rapid City, SD; and a brother, Chris Greiner of Grapeview, WA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Raymond and Robert; and a grandson, Robert Allin.
