Le Mars, Iowa – Betty L. Fuller, 84, of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Happy Siesta Health Care Center in Remsen, Iowa. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024, at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Merrill, Iowa. Tom Munson will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Merrill. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024, with the family present from 5-7 at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the funeral service.

Betty Lucille Fuller was born on March 17, 1940, to Albert and Lucille (Carstensen) Husman. She grew up in the Hinton and Merrill area and graduated from Merrill High School. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Merrill, the Civil Defense and the Good Samaritan Auxiliary.

Betty worked as a dental assistant, babysat and worked as the Activity Director at Good Samaritan Society in Le Mars until her retirement. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, fishing and traveling. She also enjoyed family time with her two children and their families as well as time spent with her brother Richard and his wife Laura.

She is survived by her children, Robert Fuller and Rebecca Warren both of Le Mars; her grandchildren, Josh (Sheila) Fuller of Brunsville, IA and Nikki (Chris) Sharp of Merrill, IA; her 4 great granddaughters, Meadow and Autumn Fuller and Taylor and Averie Sharp; her brother, Richard (Laura) Husman of Merrill, IA; as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, daughter-in-law, Deb Fuller and her brother, Donald Husman.
