Ann Walker, 78, passed away unexpectedly on November 17th, 2025, at her home in Le Mars. She leaves behind family and friends who loved, were loved, and were challenged by her unique spirit.

There will be no public services.  Arrangements are with the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars, Iowa.  Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.mauerjohnsonfh.com .

Growing up in Minnesota, she developed a love for water, and nothing put her soul more at peace than sitting next to it, listening to the rhythm of breeze and waves. She was a voracious reader, finishing multiple books per week, and enjoyed watching court-room shows.

She often fell into deep conversations with others, effortlessly drawing out their life's story while sharing bits of hers. When she loved, she did so fiercely and protectively.

Life was often not easy for Ann, especially towards the end of her life as multiple accidents impacted her mobility and quality of life. But she found comfort and joy spending time with her beloved husband, Rod, and his father Matt.

She was a daughter, a mother, a grandmother, a great grandmother, a wife, and a friend.
