Alma O. Willer, 94 of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at Holy Spirit Retirement Community in Sioux City, Iowa.

Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Le Mars. Visitation with the family present will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be expressed to the family through www.mauerjohnsonfh.com.

Alma Oliva Olson was born on December 1, 1931 in Seney, Iowa, the youngest of eight children, to OleBen and Alvena (Rothbart) Olson. She was raised in Seney and attended Le Mars Community schools.  Alma and her sister, Violet, moved to Le Mars and began working at Aalf's. Alma worked for Aalf's for 47 years before she retired. During her retirement she began working for Timmy's Catering in Le Mars.  Alma moved to Holy Spirit Retirement Community in Sioux City in November of 2023.

Alma was a long-time member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Le Mars. Alma enjoyed the outdoors; she had a large garden where she grew both vegetables and flowers. She loved fishing and camping, making many great family memories at Lake Park, Iowa. She was a gifted seamstress and made many beautiful quilts for her family.  Alma was strong-minded and spirted woman who confidently shared her opinions. She will be greatly missed.

Alma is survived by her daughter, Deb Singer of Dakota City, NE; granddaughters: Monica (Terry) Fowler of South Sioux City, NE and Wendy (David) Raff of Dakota City, NE; six great grandchildren: Kayla (Andy) Cross, Ryan Fowler, Shyanne (Grant) Roberts, Haylee Raff, Brody Raff, and Jesse Singer Jr; four great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.

Alma is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Jesse Singer; long time partner, Earlin Plueger; son in law, Steven Singer; and her siblings: Fred Olson, Lawrence Olson, Calmer Olson, Albert Olson, William Olson, Violet Heien, and Margaret Olson.
