Condolence From: Diane Anstine
Condolence: I knew Glada for 50 years and worked with she and Dick 25 of those years at the Daily Sentinel. They were quite the team! Glada taught me how to write a story and a headline, edit copy, lay out the front page and much, much more. One thing she always said was be sure to spell peoples' names correctly, it's an insult if you don't. She cared about people, the community and doing whatever she did the best she possible could. Quite the lady who will be missed by many.

I was blessed to know her and I will hold our friendship close in my heart as she knew how to brighten your day by just seeing her in her pick up. So Many memories we all have of Glada will always live on. Now heaven has another great lady. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Condolence: Glada set the standard for journalism in the Le Mars area. She will be remembered with both fondness and respect. My sympathy goes out to Glada's many friends - especially Judy - and to her family. She was a special lady who made a difference in many lives and in the Le Mars community.

Condolence: What a blessing Glada was to the community!! Some of my fondest memories of her are her interest in the CROP Walk when my late husband was in charge of it. Her enthusiasm and support kept us going with this project. Her smile and interest in people was heart warming. I am thankful that I got to know her when we lived in Le Mars. My prayers are with those who were close to her. She is now with the God that she loved so much!

Condolence: I enjoyed getting to know Glada (and Dick) back in the 1970's at the Sentinel, and I esp. enjoyed running into Glada here and there in Le Mars years later on the odd occasion when I made it to town. My sympathy to Glada's family and friends. I thought she was a great gal. Le Mars won't seem the same without her!

Condolence: May you rest in Peace Glada.
I'm glad I got to take care of Glada the last few months, and always enjoyed her talking about the Museum, and when Woofstock rolled around she seemed to always look forward to it. And riding in the parade.
I will miss seeing Glada, and her good friends Judy and Eva. And the dogs at the Manor.!!
Thank you Glada for all you did for LeMars whether it be for the town, people, or animals. You were so caring right to the end. Always so positive!
With much respect.
You will truely be missed by all who knew you. God bless you Glada you have truely earned your angel wings..
